A Season of Magic & Milestones

As the leaves turned from green to gold and the air grew crisp, Camp [Camp Name] was busier than ever making magic happen. While the campgrounds are now quieting down for the winter holidays, our hearts are still full from an absolutely incredible autumn.

Looking back at the past few months, we didn’t just see a change in seasons; we saw a season of growth, adventure, and record-breaking fun. Here is a look back at the Fall adventures that made this year so special.

Fall by the Numbers

This fall was nothing short of historic for us. We hosted seven distinct camp sessions, taking our campers on wild imaginative journeys ranging from high-stakes Treasure Hunts to intrepid Winter Expeditions.

We are also thrilled to announce a major milestone: We hit a record attendance number for a single overnight session with 19 campers! In total, we welcomed 94 campers through our gates this season. Every single one of those numbers represents a smile, a conquered fear, and a memory made.

New Beginnings: The Weekend Day Camp

Innovation is the heartbeat of camp, and this fall we introduced a brand new way to experience our programs: Weekend Day Camps!

We know that for some of our campers, spending the night away from home can feel like a big hurdle. This new format offers the perfect "stepping stone." It allows campers to dive into the full fun and friendship of camp during the day, without the commitment of an overnight stay. It was a massive success, and we are excited to keep it going.

• Mark Your Calendars: If you have a camper interested in dipping their toes into the camp experience, our Spring Weekend Day Camp is set for March 28th and March 29th. We can’t wait to see them there!

  
  

Session Highlight: Halloween with Hairy!

If there was one event that defined the energy of this fall, it was undoubtedly Halloween with Hairy! The energy was electric (and just a little bit spooky).

Our campers showed incredible bravery and creativity. They faced the slime and suspense of "Fear Factor," brewed up trouble with our "Witches' Brew" activity, and worked together to solve the puzzles of our Escape Room.

Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween without pumpkins and scares. From carving masterpieces to navigating the epic Haunted House, the laughter and screams of delight could be heard all across the camp.

A Huge Shoutout to Our Community

Camp is a place, but it is defined by its people. We want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to the volunteer groups and individuals who poured their time and labor into making camp better this season.

Thanks to you, our facilities have leveled up. You helped us build a permanent 9-Square in the Air court and a Human Foosball court—both of which have already become camper favorites. Beyond construction, you helped facilitate the magic by running the Haunted House, managing the Silent Disco, and tackling the essential cleaning and organizational tasks that keep camp running smoothly. We simply couldn't do this without you.

Expanding Our Reach: The Panther Academy Partnership

Finally, we are proud to share that the magic of camp is expanding beyond our own grounds. This fall, we launched a wonderful partnership with the Dakota Valley School District.

Through this program, students from the Panther Academy visit camp for two hours every week. This isn't just about play (though there is plenty of that!); it is about using recreational experiences to build vital life skills. Seeing these students grow in confidence and teamwork week after week has been a highlight of our season.
